Several years back, I had a YouTube series called “Ask Kiff”. And while I loved answering your legal questions, the process of creating the videos was time-consuming.
After a while, I really admired those that regularly created YouTube content by themselves, because for me the planning, recording, editing, and everything else involved was too much. And so after two seasons, I quit.
But I *LOVED* answering your questions.
And while I do get to answer your legal questions inside the artist’s Courtyard, I wanted to bring back Ask Kiff in a more public way, without adding all the burden and pressure of what’s expected of YouTube content. (Or at least the burden and pressures I put on myself for YouTube content.)
As I mentioned last week, I’m enjoying playing around with VideoAsk.
And when I was browsing some of the examples they have on their website of how to use it, I ran across an example of using it to collect audience questions. This creative director used it as a branding hotline, where people could submit questions and he turned it into social media content.
I was inspired by his video to bring back Ask Kiff in a more casual way.
Here’s how it’ll work:
- You can leave your video question for me here (or using the form below).
- Within 2 business days, I’ll reply to your question with a video of my own answering your question.
The only “catch” is that you agree to let me share your video question and my reply on my website by submitting your video. Because if you have a question, another creative does too! And this way, we can build a library of questions and answers you can turn to.
